2008-The Journey Begins: The members of Days Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church appointed a committee in 2008 to study the possibility of starting a private Christian school where our children can learn about the LORD, as well as excel academically. The idea of beginning a Christian school here in Lafayette has been studied before, but had been dormant for several years until 2008 when the idea resurfaced.

August 9th, 2010-MCA Opens: Under the authority of Days Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church, MCA opened its doors for school on August 9th, 2010 at the building located at 518 Church Street in Lafayette, TN.

June 2nd, 2012- Macon Missionary Baptist Church is organized: The school stayed under the authority of Days Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church for the first two years until Macon Missionary Baptist Church was organized on June 2nd, 2012 with the extending arm being extended by the Mother Church, Days Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church. The newly organized Church had met as a mission since April 3rd, 2011. Several members of Days Cross Roads, who had been attending the mission regularly, being led by the Lord, felt the need to organize. MCA is now under the authority of Macon Missionary Baptist Church.

October 13th, 2014- MCA opens new main campus: The Lord has blessed us at Macon Christian Academy beyond measure during the past years. In addition to the many blessings and testimonies we experienced during our school and church services, students were saved and were led to join the Church. All these blessings are from the Lord. In addition our enrollment grew, so we purchased a new building just off Highway 52 for the Upper class in 2013 and after a short stay at Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church, we opened the doors to our new school on October 13th, 2014.  We now have PreK-12 at this location.  The school is located at 707 Warrior Lane off of Highway 52 in Lafayette, TN.
